PROFESSIONAL SCALED SITE PLANS
From Music Festivals/ Music Events/ Weddings/ Racing Events/ Sporting Events etc.
At the end of this lesson, you will set up the scaled site maps of the outdoor space(s) you require and also create the event plan to suit.
Remember, outdoor smart shapes are accurately scaled and provide a visual representation of your site plan equipment. These items could be marquee’s, dinner tents, outdoor toilet facilities, cool rooms, umbrellas etc.
Yes – the scaled site maps are set up to precise accuracy.
This allows them to use in many areas of your business. From directional signage, concert day event layouts and outdoor function plan to race day layouts for the Melbourne Cup.
Precise accuracy is key: what you see on screen is exactly what will fit in the outdoor space.
Another requirement later in the course, site maps are set up with functionality for opening and closing doors, detailing underground power, light and AV outlets, floor pits etc along with tools for showing all dimension of the area that can be turned on or off. Then simply drag the shape icons onto the plan to create a functional layout.
Click Login – Enter your username and Password
Select “Templates” drop down menu (refer image below)
Ensure all plans are Saved & Printed to PDF or PNG.
Naming the plan & PDF’s
(Your First Name & Surname Followed by Event Name & Venue Name) e.g John Smith Cocktail Plan Sydney Convention Centre

Create a site plan using some “Outdoor & Exhibition Shapes”
Please use the “person” icon located in your shapes.
* Each plan must have marquee,
* Outdoor bathrooms, detailed signage, entry areas, foot traffic flow.
* Stage area
* Catering stalls / Exhibition booths for food stations (minimum of 20)
* Add the event name at the top of the plan.
* Catering access for vehicles/staff
*Site plan ONLY in 2D.
